About Me
Dr. Jose Wu comes a long way from Buenos Aires, Argentina where he graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires School of Dentistry. Shortly after, Dr. Wu also graduated as an implant specialist from Universidad Catolica Argentina. His passion for dentistry drove him all the way to the United States where he studied the International Dental Program from Loma Linda School of Dentistry. As a student, Dr. Wu obtained awards for his advanced standing, teaching assistantship, and for having the overall highest quality of clinic performance.
His dedication to learning has never abated. Dr. Wu has continued his education with Dawson Academy where he is currently an alumni. Dawson Academy furthered his understanding of esthetics, function, and occlusion. Dr. Wu is a compilation of his experiences and demonstrates his commitment to excellence by continuing his education for advanced dentistry and participating in study clubs around the country.
Dr. Wu chose to become a Dawson Study Club leader. I found that in a small group settings, we can efficiently learn together, expand our knowledge, meet new people, learn and master new skills and grow the confidence to take on complex cases. I believe this is the best opportunity to increase the quality of dentistry in our community providing state of the art, relationship-based, comprehensive care that is tailored to fit every patient. For Dr. Wu, it's all about family! Regardless of whether it's his dental team or their patients, everyone here is treated as one of the family.
Dr. Wu lives in Houston, TX with his wonderful wife Katherine and their daughter Sophia. Besides his passion for dentistry, Dr. Wu enjoys fishing, soccer, photography, and being active members of their at their church, Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church.
